Vietnam vs Thailand in 2026: where should Indians actually go?

Round 1: Visa and getting in

Thailand's advantage on friction narrowed in May 2026: the 60-day visa-free entry was withdrawn, and Indians now use a Visa on Arrival (15 days, THB 2,000 in cash) or a 60-day Tourist e-Visa applied for in advance.
